Servo / Spindle Motor Dynamic Load Control System

This system can be a definitive test of torque specifications
with the ability to test to a locked rotor state. It can also be used to prove
winding & magnetic rotor health or encoder feedback accuracy over the life
of your machine. It allows for predictive maintenance decisions and proactive
motor testing for your essential production machines. This system
couples the servo or spindle motor being tested to a 22 KW motor
generator. The generated load power is then dissipated through a resistor
bank. Dynamic torque or load data is measured via torque transducer to a
laptop with reporting software. Each motor is dynamically tested with the
appropriate OEM drive to ensure simulated production conditions.
